How to do Hand Massage

Moisturizing makes your skin better and softer, while also aiding your client to relax and feel great. A gentle hand massage should be completed before the nail polish is applied. The massage movements are followed as below:

  1. Apply effleurage to the complete hand and the forearm. Apply long sweeping strokes beginning with the side and shifting to the elbow. Provide massage therapy on the interior and the outside factors of the forearm. Continue doing this step five more times.
  2. Use your thumbs to knead the trunk area of the forearm and the hands, inserting one thumb before the other. Move them again and in soft sawing way, moving from the tactile hands to the elbow. Slide the thumbs to the hands now. Repeat the procedure twice.
  3. Apply thumb kneading on the hand and do again the movements in step 2.
  4. Finger circulations, with support for the joint parts: Support knuckles using one palm and maintain each finger independently. Moving from the tiny finger to the thumb, therapeutic massage clockwise and then anti-clockwise. These movements need to be performed very gently. Repeat the procedure twice.
  5. Wrist circulations: Use one side to carry the client's wrist. Place your finger in the middle of your client's fingers, keeping the palm very softly. Move the wrist clockwise and then anti-clockwise. Repeat the task twice.
  6. Give a circular massage to the forearm and the complete hand, duplicating the activities performed in the first step.
